We are still in port in Quebec City. We chose to stay on the ship, relax and explore. After not too much sleep for a couple of days, we slept in, the bed is very comfy. Our balcony cabin is small, but very comfortable and clean. Large closet area. Typical bathroom. Nightstands on both sides of the bed that have automatic floor lights with movement. So nice at night. Desk/ mirror. Refrigerator. Even though it is an older ship, it is well maintained and beautiful. It is easy to navigate and there are very large, interactive screens by all the elevators. The staff has been wonderful and service has been exemplary. Drinks have been plentiful, but not all the bars are allowed to be open while we are in port, as per Canadian law. The casino is also closed in port, so it has not taken any of our money so far. Two pools but no swimmers. We have medallions on a lanyard – they do everything – unlock your door (just by being next to the door), identify you for purchases, order food/drinks, and probably things I haven’t discovered yet. The Princess app on your phone is a MUST. It makes life and planning so much easier. It is easy to use, even Patrick is using it.
