Fortuna, Costa Rica

A relaxed morning. Breakfast at 8:30 am and put our luggage out for 9am pickup. Some of our group met Ozzy at 6am for a bird watching walk. Pictures he took from his walk are below. Sorry I don’t know the names of all the birds. If I find them, I’ll add them later. On the bus at 10am. We are crossing the country and on our way to the Pacific coast. We are on a two lane, mountainous, often narrow road and thank God we have such a competent bus driver. We stop for lunch at El Jardin for lunch and shopping. These are definitely not your “normal” road side stops. Delicious food, reasonable souvenir shopping and much more (as you will see in the pictures). We went through a variety of eco-systems. Passed through the port of Caldera then onto Playa Herradura and Los Suenos Marriott Costa Rica Resort. WOW – WOW – WOW. Dinner at the resort didn’t disappoint.
