Another relaxed start. On the bus at 10:30 am and headed to a Crocodile safari and bird watching boat excursion on the Tarcoles River. The Tarcoles River is one of the longest rivers, almost 69 miles, in Costa Rica and home to one the the world’s largest crocodile populations. There are over 50 varieties of birds, icluding the once endangered Scarlet macaw. I’ve tried my best to name the birds. Some of the pictures are mine, some are Ozzy’s, but they all were taken today. After the boat ride, we had lunch at the same place. We had chicken fried rice Costa Rican style, salad, and a local dessert. Then back to the pool which was a wonderful temperature and had a great pool bar. A few drinks and cerviche for Pat. We actually skipped dinner because we were still full and tired. We also knew we had an early morning departure.
A private boat for just our group. Thank you Ozzy and Collette. We really could spread out and relax. We watched this one for a while and he eventually wiggled into the water, submerged and swam awayjust swimming along
